Cynthia Earns Her Stripes

Poor Cynthia .... she grew up in Las Vegas and after 15 years in Wisconsin she still hasn't gotten used to the cold weather. On January 20th however, she put her love of football above her personal comfort and attended her very first "Frozen Tundra" game!


While most people find three or four layers to be enough, she wasn't taking any chances. By the time she put all this stuff on over long underwear, jeans and two sweaters, she must have had at least six or seven layers.


Even her own family was betting on how long she would last, but not only did she sit through the whole game, she even braved the agonizing overtime where the Packers saw their Super Bowl hopes go right through the uprights with the Giants' field goal kick. It was a sad ending to a very exciting game, but she can now lay claim to being at Lambeau Field for one of the coldest games on record.


It was seriously cold that day ...... cold enough to freeze beer!
