On Sunday, October 19, 2008, we had the privilege of treating our new friend Sebastian to his first-ever NFL game. Sebastian is the German teaching assistant here at St. Norbert College this year, and this was his real live introduction to American football!
We also welcomed our old friend
Teresa for the weekend as she came to cheer on her Indianapolis Colts.
Unfortunately, someone has to lose every week ... sorry Teresa! It was an exciting game for us that day as the Packers dominated the Colts 34-14, but we got our turn to suffer this week as we watched them lose to the Tennessee Titans 16-19. It was even more agonizing because it was tied at the end and went into overtime, where the Titans won by a field goal, aaack!
You just have to remember that it's only a game, but a great excuse for all Mom's old friends and classmates from Rhinelander High School to come party in Green Bay when it's a home game.
